Mateo is a licensed Lebanese tour guide and archaeologist based in Tyre, Lebanon. Fluent in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, he enables meaningful connections with travelers from diverse cultural backgrounds, bringing Tyre’s rich history, archaeological treasures, and ancient hippodrome to life through engaging and informative experiences.
Holding a Master’s degree in Ancient History, Mateo specializes in cultural heritage interpretation and leads guided visits and educational tours not only in Tyre but also across Lebanon’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Byblos, Sidon, Batroun, and Baalbek. He has also collaborated with several renowned travel agencies to deliver authentic and educational tour experiences across the country.
